NEW MUSIC: SNOOP DOGG & BOYZ II MEN – ‘SANTA CLAUS GOES STRAIGHT TO THE GHETTO 2017’

Merry Christmizzle. Twenty one years after dropping “Santa Claus Goes to the Ghetto” off Christmas on Death Row, Snoop Dogg updates his Nate Dogg collaboration with a little help from Boyz II Men.

“Santa Claus is comin’ straight to the ghetto,” sing the Philly crooners, while Tha Doggfather paints the perfect Christmas scene. “Santa Claus on the ceiling, Jack Frost chillin’,” he raps. “Pinched the Grinch for bein’ a holiday villain / Season’s greetings / All the proceedings / Are brought to you by the church house, where we’ll be eatin’.”

Snoop and BIIM recently teamed up to perform their 2017 collaboration as part of FOX’s “Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas” special, hosted by Steve Harvey.

Looking to add more seasonal Snoop tunes to your holiday playlist? Tha Doggfather has quite a Christmas collection, including “Santa Baby” with Puff Daddy, Ma$e, and Salt-N-Pepa, “Spark One Up with Santa Claus!” featuring Jenn EM and The FredWreck Rkestra, and “Winter Wonderland / Here Comes Santa Claus” with Anna Kendrick from the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack.

In 2008, Snoop also dropped Christmas in Tha Dogghouse, a holiday compilation album with appearances by Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Daz Dillinger, and more.
