THE NEXT BIG THING: VUNG DROPS STUNNING MUSE SINGLE

There’s something so special about you,

You’re my muse

I don’t just say that, I prove it

The latest release from Nigerian-born singer-songwriter VUNG hits the spot, just in time for Valentine’s Day this year. With February being the designated month for romance, VUNG’s “Muse” couldn’t have come at a better time. The song, which is a sweet R&B and afropop mix, has a wonderful air of vulnerability to it. It’s a love letter that reads as sweet, but also deeply devoted, with the artist singing his “muse” praises throughout the tune.

VUNG’s voice appeals through its melodic nature. It’s the sort of voice that fits a variety of genres like a glove, which only attests the artist’s skill, and his ability to adapt to multiple genres. VUNG made a name for himself as an afropop and R&B recording artist, and songwriter, though it wasn’t this that first got him into music. Born Victor Ajamolaya, VUNG spent the better part of his teenage years heavily into hip-hop, singing and songwriting almost exclusively in that genre. However, as time wore on, he discovered he could do so much more with his music, and that’s how sweet, and intimate tunes like “Muse” were born.

As a professional afropop, R&B singer and songwriter, VUNG released his very first single back in 2020, and has since spent his time growing his following. Because of the melodic, catchy rhythm of his releases, it’s easy to see how VUNG appeals to a wide range of people, across the music scene. What’s more, his ability to go from sweet to street lends him an advantage that few modern artists can boast. VUNG is a fantastic young man, with an intense career ahead of him, if tracks like “Muse” are anything to go by. This is why, this Valentine’s Day, turn up the speakers, and check out “Muse” - ‘cause you won’t regret it!
